This symposium covers key issues associated with the “future of work,” including globalization and culture change, workplace technology (e.g., machine learning and artificial intelligence), employee withdrawal/turnover, and virtual and remote work arrangements. Discussions focus on the (observed and anticipated) effects of these trends on individual and collective outcomes such as well-being and performance along with identifying areas where more research is needed.
